Highlands Park

Renton Technical College, frequently shortened to Renton Tech or RTC, is a community college in Renton, Washington. This college provides certificates of completion, two-year associate’s degrees, and four-year bachelor’s degrees. Most of their educational pathways are focused on technical fields.

Renton Technical College was founded in 1941. Initially, it focussed on training young professionals to be productive for the United States during World War II. The college also provided job re-training at the end of the war.

At the end of World War II, Renton Technical College became a vocational school. It was funded by the state to convert the local economy from a wartime setup to a peacetime economy. Now, Renton Technical College spans more than 400,000 square feet. This school provides more than 100 total programs.

From Highlands Elementary School, head south on Harrington Ave NE. Turn left to stay on Harrington Ave, followed by a left on Sunset Lane. Sunset Neighborhood Park will be on the right, located at 2680 Sunset Ln NE, Renton, WA 98056.

Then from Sunset Neighborhood Park, turn right onto Harrington Ave NE. Turn left onto NE Sunset Blvd. Then turn right onto NE 10^th St. Highlands Community Church will be on the right, located at 3031 NE 10th St, Renton, WA 98056.

Next, from Highlands Community Church, head northwest toward NE 10^th St. Turn right toward NE 10^th St., then turn left to get to 10^th St. In 200 ft, Joyful Life Church will be on the right, located at 2900 NE 10th St, Renton, WA 98056

From Joyful Life Church, located at 2900 NE 10th St, Renton, WA 98056, head southeast on NE 10th St toward Jefferson Ave NE. Turn right onto Kirkland Ave NE. Then turn left onto NE 7th St. Highlands Preschool will be on the left, located at 701 Monroe Ave NE, Renton, WA 98056.

From Highlands Preschool, head north toward NE 7th St. Turn left onto NE 7th St and then turn right onto Kirkland Ave NE. Make a quick left, and Iglesia Vida will be on the right, located at 3031 NE 10th St, Renton, WA 98056.

From Iglesia Vida, head west toward NE 9th St.. Turn left toward NE 9th St, and then turn right onto NE 9th St.. At the first cross street, turn right onto Harrington Ave. Tienda Latina will be on the left, located at 927 Harrington Ave NE, Renton, WA 98056.

From Tienda Latina, head south on Harrington Ave NE toward NE 9th St.. At the first cross street, turn right onto NE 9th St. Turn right onto Ferndale Cir NE, and the Indian fabric store will be on the right, located at 923 Ferndale Cir NE, Renton, WA 98056.

From the Indian fabric store, head east on Ferndale Cir NE toward NE 9th St.. Just a few feet ahead, Retro Earth Studio will be located at 924 Ferndale Cir NE, Renton, WA 98056.

From Retro Earth Studio, head south on Ferndale Cir NE toward NE 9th St. Turn right onto NE 9th St and then turn right to stay on NE 9th St. Then, turn left onto Sunset Blvd NE, and then use the right lane to get onto I-405 S. Stay on I-405 S for 3 miles and take Exit 1. Turn right onto Interurban Ave S and take the first right onto Southcenter Blvd. Turn left onto 66th Ave S and left again onto Andover Park E. After .5 miles, turn left onto Industry Dr.. Multi-M Contracting will be on the left at 818 Industry Dr, Tukwila, WA 98188.
