Mercer Island

Metropolitan Market Mercer Island is an upscale grocery store. The store prides itself on quality and providing innovative products for locals. They focus on providing hard-to-find and luxury items alongside grocery store staples.

Whenever possible, the store partners with local producers. For example, Walla Walla onions come straight from Locatti Farm. Much of their beef comes from Painted Hills Farm in Fossil, Oregon. Painted Hills strives to give consumers the best-tasting meat possible while raising cattle without antibiotics or hormones.

Another significant aspect of the Metropolitan Market is its recipes. You’ll find recipes for every ingredient and location, and all the items you’ll need can be found in your local Mercer Island store.

If you want a tasty lunch, you can find it at the Metropolitan Market. The hot bar offers comfort food, taqueria, Asian, and Indian cuisine. The theme varies based on the day of the week, but every day is packed with flavor.

Their prepared foods section also gets rave reviews, making it a great option when you want something healthy, but don’t feel like cooking it yourself.

The Mercer Island store cares for the local community as well. They partner with Friends of the Needy, the Chamber of Commerce, and Youth and Family Services.
