The USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) is a federal government office in Tukwila, Washington, just south of Seattle. This office is a part of the Department of Homeland Security. It offers support for application issues, provides support for collecting fingerprint biometrics, and helps residents manage issues with their green cards.
Visitors must make an appointment to get into USCIS support centers. A visitor can get help with an application, receive updates on application status, and other support services.
To schedule a visit to the ASC office or speak to an immigration information officer for support, visitors may call 1-800-375-5283. The only exception to this rule is military members, who may visit between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. When visiting the Tukwila USCIS ASC, visitors may use the public parking area for a fee of $6.00 cash per day. The USCIS offers fingerprinting services by appointment only and only for people applying for asylum, naturalization, permanent residency, or other types of visas. The ASC notifies applicants about their scheduled time by mail, typically within 3 to 8 weeks after the USCIS receives the application. If the visitor needs to reschedule, they are directed to follow the instructions on the notice to reschedule. The notice also provides a box to request a reschedule, which can be completed if mailed within a week of the original date. Before requesting a new time, the applicant should have a good reason for missing the date. Applicants who miss their scheduled time may have to wait weeks for the USCIS to send a new notice for a biometrics appointment.
